It’s super easy to share what you listen to on Spotify with your Discord pals unless you are an Apple Music subscriber. Apple Music is not integrated into Discord in the same way as Spotify, but thanks to a large and dedicated developer community, where there’s a will, there’s a way.
This method has some caveats, and although it is not the only one, it seems to be the most user-friendly. This particular method relies on pushing your information to Discord using a Windows PC and an application called iTunes Rich Presence. It does not reflect that you may be listening to anything on Apple Music from other devices.
Download iTunesRichPresence for Windows.
Extract all files in the zip.
Run the application iTunesRichPresence-rewrite.
Check run on startup.
The final step is not required but recommended as it means that you do not have to continually open the application every time you start your computer to integrate with Discord. There is no need to log in or manually link to Discord; The app does everything it needs to do in the background.
One of the advantages of using this method over anything else is getting it with customization. Not only can you push the rich content of Apple Music to Discord, but you can also decide how you want it to look.
You can use the Token Toolbox to create your layouts for displaying albums, artists, playlists, and playtime in Discord even when you pause the music, how you want it to appear. Keeping apps in the foreground is not essential. Only configure it once, and it minimizes to the system tray.
If you enable execution at startup, you will never have to see it unless you want to change something.
